You might treat your loved one to a long massage, such as a 90 minute treatment, or maybe an hour, or perhaps something small but powerful, such as a half hour of reflexology massage for their feet (or hands, if they're too ticklish).  I even have a gentleman who buys his wife a year's worth of monthly hour massages each Christmas.  Some clients like to treat themselves to a few gift certificates to get the discount, and use them to start their year off with regularly scheduled massages, which is totally allowed.
